Since most users tend to use the same username and password for different accounts, Ixyst Corporation has taken extra measures to ensure the protection of your password. Your password is stored in the databased in hashed format, that is, it is encrypted with a strong encryption algorithm (MD5) and then stored in the database only in encrypted form. Upon login, the password you provide is hashed once again and compared to the value in the database. This approach ensures that not even Ixyst Corporation's stuff can tell what your password is. A strong password would take years for even the fastest super computer to decrypt.

Your E-mail Address
During the registration process you are also asked to provide and optional e-mail address. Whereas not required, Ixyst Corporation strongly encourages you to provide a valid e-mail. The e-mail you provide is the only way Ixyst Corporation can identify you in case you forget your account password. Ixyst Corporation may occassionally send out new feature updates and promotions. You can always opt out of these e-mails by following the link at the end of these e-mails. Please note that Ixyst Corporation will never share or sell your e-mail to third party entities.

Statistics and Quality Information
In addition to the common Web Server log files, Ixyst Corporation maintains additional logs of user actions. These logs are used to ensure proper functionality and identify usability issues. The logs may also be used to investigate fraudulent activity on the site.
